History

After holding several appointments around Asterisk in Paris, I noticed that quite a few people were interested to have just as theinstall Linuxparty, appointments free and open to all to share Asterisk around and see itself in the telecom universe of Free Software.

I have therefore decided to launch an initiative that is not only directed French (Paris) but for all in order to organize free sessions around Asterisk and why not move to other free software in telecommunications.

This site is entirely dedicated to rendezvous organized around Asterisk. For the moment it is simply go to france but is open to all countries. The goal of this website and centralize information on the Asterisk meetings throughout the world who are free and open to all.

You will find on this site, details for each events with calendars, inscriptions ... The Asterisk Party events are free for all interested persons to install Asterisk and move above but also exchange information and many other things. It remains primarily a proposed meeting for exchanging human.

That is why I have established a timetable to have the dates of events, but also allowing through the wiki to comment and add information to share with people who have failed to come.

To simplify, events are divided into three types of appointments:

1. 'Apéro Asterisk' - offers a small friendly evening around a beer in a bar and restaurant for an informal exchange on Asterisk.
2. 'Meeting Asterisk' - can make an appointment type conference, debate etc. ... around Asterisk.
3. 'Party Asterisk' - can make an appointment more technical to make practice and learn how to use Asterisk.
